Heating Instructions – Ham and Potato Soup | Old-Fashioned Irish Goodness
Keep Frozen. For best results, thaw before reheating.
To Defrost:

Refrigerator (Preferred):
Place the sealed soup container in the refrigerator and allow to thaw for 12–24 hours. -
Quick Thaw:
Place the sealed container in a bowl of cold water for 1–2 hours, changing the water occasionally.
To Reheat:
Stovetop (Recommended):

Pour thawed soup into a saucepan.

Heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until hot (internal temperature of 75°C / 165°F).

Do not boil.
Microwave:

Pour thawed soup into a microwave-safe bowl.

Cover loosely.

Heat on high for 2–4 minutes, stirring halfway through, until thoroughly hot.

Let sit for 1 minute before serving.
Note: Do not refreeze after thawing. Consume within 3 days of defrosting for best quality.
